Step 1: Apply

Once you've found a job at JFG that you're interested in, complete the online profile. Be sure to include your resume, your cover letter and any other documentation you'd like to submit. Once you've created your profile, you'll receive a confirmation email. You may apply for multiple jobs if you wish.

Step 2: Are You a Match?

If you're a match for the position, you will receive a call or email from a Human Resources professional to determine if you meet the requirements of the position. Check out our Interview Tips.

Step 3: In‐Person Interview

If you're selected for an in‐person interview, it will most likely be at the job location. The interview may be with an individual or a group, and you might be asked to attend more than one. Interviews typically include the hiring manager, another manager, and Human Resources. For some positions, you may come back more than once to interview with different team members or business partners.

The in‐person interview will be more in‐depth than the initial contact, so you should be prepared to give specific examples of your skills, experience and how you'll add value to the team.

How long does the process take? The process can be as quick as 3‐4 weeks, but could take longer, depending upon the type of position, how many interviews, and how many candidates we have. We'll keep you informed during the steps of the process.

Step 4: The Employment Application

We may ask you to complete an employment application. This is important because it captures your work history, education, and other information. It should be completed thoroughly and honestly.

Step 5: If You're Hired

If you are offered a job and accept it, we will complete a thorough background check that reviews your education, employment, salary and criminal history. You will also be asked to complete a pre‐employment drug screening and have your fingerprints taken after you begin. Financial institutions have specific regulations on hiring with which we must comply.
